None're complainin' too loudly though 's so many 've endured Mother Nature's wrath this spring. Vicious tornadoes 've ripped through areas'n mere moments leavin' nothin' but devastation, death 'n the sorta shock that numbs one to their inner bein'.
Others've 'd the need fer swim fins 'n snorkels 's the rains came...'n came...'n came. Rivers o'erflowin' there banks, 't times her fury so strong such's jest swept homes off their foundations 'n carried 'em off.
Wild fires rippin' through South Africa, no mercy shown fer any livin' thing.
Heat so intense that our friends'n India felt's though they were trapped 'nside a kiln. The rains finally came to some 'n they blessed the sight 'n smell 'f such.
Folks'n New Zealand who're still 'xperiencin' earthquakes 'n tremors. Their thoughts bein' if'n the 'big'un' 'tis yet to come 'gain. The hardest hit 'f the country still not healed, they remain'n good spirits.
Our youths trust'n humanity somewhat shaken 'cross the pond. More tragedies befallen a country 'f the sweetest folks 'n such a short time frame. How does one heal?
I could go'n fer several pages 't all the tragedies that've shocked the world, rocked the faith 'f those who've been hardest hit. Leavin' the rest'f 's somewhat dumbfounded 's we scramble to see what aide we might offer.
What all've'n common 's folks comin' together. To heal their communities, their countries, 'emselves. The outpourin' from other countries bolsterin' their determination to o'ercome 'n hold their heads higher. The knowin' that together, united 'n times 'f strife, 'tis when we all seem to shine the brightest.
My sincere condolences to all who've suffered, those who've lost more'n most can e'en imagine.
the lighter side'f life...
What helps this ol' gal get through the tough times? Mother Natures bountiful gifts, the sound 'f a familiar voice, the gentle touch 'f a hand. There's somethin' calmin' watchin' the birds, listenin' to the waterfall 'n bustle 'f activity. Gentle 'howdy do's' echoin' from the pasture...That knowledge that despite all, life fer the rest continues.

Be sure'n be kind to one 'nother, not jest waitin' fer the unspeakable to happen 'fore doin' such.
