Not any longer I fear. Makes it quite the nightmare tryin' to find one's I'd like to share with folks. Seems a few years back I got into the nasty habit'f jest downloadin' 'em off the camera 'n lettin' 'em do's they wish. Ya know, they're by DATE? Yepperz, that leads to sunrises, sunsets, birds, horses, flowers 'n whate'er else I've had a hankerin' to snap a picture'f to all be lumped into the date taken.
I understand that fer some folks that'd not be much trouble. Fer myself, 'tis like tryin' to find that proverbial needle'n a haystack. Near impossible most times 's I struggle to recall certain days/months/years I might'a stashed that special shot.
Yepperz, I've made some headway though've a heck'uva long road still to travel. I curse the great shots that sit lost'n ol' hard drives that nobody could retrieve. Those locked into floppy disks under whate'er type'f file was used back'n those days. 'tis near maddenin'... Sure, I've tried to get 'em off'a there, to no avail. E'en those that're'n CD's don't wish to open. I keep 'em though, thinkin' that perhaps someday somebody'll come 'long who's willin' to tackle such a feat.
If'n ya don't like the weather...
Nah, we didn't get quite that toasty, but I'm tellin' ya those days'f 75 - 83 degrees days loaded with sunshine was a true delight. I managed to putter 'round my lil sanctuary 'n 'ave myself some hollerin' fests with the horses. E'en managed to make it out to 'em a few times 'n that sure did lots fer my sunny disposition.
Tiny daffodils t'weren't jest peekin' outta the soil, those dang thingies were bloomin'! Not all mind'ja, but 'nough to give that false sense that hairy critter knew what he was talkin' 'bout. Other bulbed flowers also broke through the ground, their thick emerald green leaves wavin' gently'n the breeze...
Typical fer these parts...
's per the 'norm' 'round these parts, that changed quickly Sunday. The winds began to howl 'n the sky was riddled with clouds. I did all I could to try to coax a ray'f sunshine out. Alas, it t'weren't meant to be.
